According to tradition, 120 pairs of debutants will open the ball. For them - unmarried girls from 16 to 23 years old and unmarried young people from 18 to 28 years old - this is a great chance to join classical culture, learn to dance, find new interesting friends.
After the famous phrase "Alles Walzer" – "Everyone waltzes!", the dancing debutants will be joined by guests who will dance waltzes, polkas and gallops until midnight, and after the famous Russian midnight quadrille, tango and foxtrots, jives, quick steps, cha-cha-cha and rumba. The dance program of the ball will be accompanied by symphonic and jazz orchestras.
The traditional ballroom gala concert, dedicated to the 230th anniversary of the birth of the famous Italian composer Gioacchino Rossini will be composed entirely of Rossini's works and will be attended by the stars of Russian and world opera.
During the ball, many more musical and dance surprises await the guests.
The Vienna Ball in Moscow is a charity event. The beneficiaries of the XIX Vienna Ball will be well-known charity organization - "The Life line" fund.
The host and Chief Dancer of the ball is the president of the Russian Dance Union Stanislav Popov.
