GRAND CHARITY BALL
After the famous exclamation "Alles Walzer!" the guests came to the dance floor and danced waltzes, polkas and gallops with great pleasure and after the Russian cadre – tangos and fokstrots, jives, quicksteps, cha-cha-cha and rumbas. The MAMT symphony orchestra and the famous jazz big band "Dance Land" named after Semen Milstein accompanied the ball's dance program.
More than 300 guests, most of whom were representatives of the Russian medical community, gathered in the magnificent Atrium of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theater (MAMT) to celebrate their professional holiday. In view of the current epidemiological situation it was possible to enter the ball only on presentation of a certificate of vaccination or a negative test for coronavirus made not earlier than 72 hours before the event.

III MEDICS' CHARITY BALL
The Ball was opened by 24 pairs of debutants – students of medical universities who first performed a polonaise and then a polka by Johann Strauss. It’s interesting to note that the first waltz was waltz "Vibrations" which Johann Strauss wrote for the medics’ ball back in 1858. It was also performed by the debutants.
The concert program of the ball featured ballet stars: MAMT prima ballerina, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Natalia Somova and MAMT's premier ballet dancer, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Georgi Smilevsky.
During the Ball there was a charity raffle of prizes. Financial assistance was given to the charitable foundation "VBlagodarnost", which is engaged in support of medics who suffered from covid.
The Ball was led by theater and film actress and singer Valeria Lanskaya and President of Russian Dance Union Stanislav Popov
The organizers of the Ball are the company of innovative medical technologies “KitMed” and “Viennese Ball Moscow” LLC, known for holding classical balls in Russia and abroad.
The official partners of the Medics’ Ball were: Olga Moroz Clinic of Aesthetic Medicine, Bosco Ceremony, Mistral, Hotel Metropol Moscow, TV channel "Mir".

The Gala-concert also featured stars of the world opera stage: tenor Vladimir Dmitruk, soloist of the MAMT and soprano Dinara Alieva, soloist of the Bolshoy Theatre, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan. They performed arias from works by Puccini, Donizetti, Lehar and Kalman. The symphony orchestra was conducted by Felix Korobov, People's Artist of Russia. Russian Ballroom dancing champions Inna Svechnikova and Nikolai Pantyukhin delighted the guests with magnificent demonstration dances.
The next, the fourth edition of Medics’ Ball will be held at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko MAMT on June 19, 2022, again on the professional holiday of the medical community.
